Wenham

Jan took me to Wenham today. Wenham has the oldest continuesly operating tea room in the country, which means one thing: I had to see it, and of course have tea there! On the way we stopped at two yarn shops, "Yarn Over Marblehead" and "Yarns in the Farm". At Yarns over Marblehead I bought a ridiculously overpriced crochet necklace, but I couldn't help it, I saw it and had to have it. Now I can figure out how to replicate it. :)
After the yarn stores we were ready for lunch and we drove to "The Wenham Tea House" www.wenhamteahouse.com .


I had a Tea Lunch which was amazing! The Lobster Bisque they served with Jan's and my lunch was the best I had ever had!!!

We didn't go there just because of the tea room, but mostly because Wenham is Jan's home town. Jan showed me different places in her hometown, and told me stories about growing up here. On the way back to Cilla's we stopped at a candy store and bought some very good chocolates.

We had another great day with beautiful weather. It is perfect, warm but not humid.

I finally finished one of the socks I started the other day. For some reason i can't get any knitting done. We do stuff, we go places, and by the time we get back I am tired. I don't know why it is that I am sooo tired since we left Tampa. Must be all this fresh air that I'm just not used to. I guess I spend so much time in airconditioned rooms that the fresh air is confusing my system.
