We had breakfast at the Village Inn and left Tampa at 9:15am. I was driving all day and the drive was uneventful for the most part, although we had to stop for half an hour when we came upon the traffic back-up behind a car fire. It was raining a little at one point, but overall it was good driving all day. We got to Florence, SC around 6:40pm, checked into the hotel, and had dinner at "Fatz" across the street from the hotel. After that we went back to the hotel and settled in for the night. I have to say that nothing exciting happened today. We'll try to have some adventures during our trip, otherwise this will be a very boring blog!
