New doors!

We finally have new doors! I only took pictures of the front door, because the back door is just a big sliding glass door.

Wir haben neue Tueren! Ich habe nur Fotos von der Eingangstuer gemacht, denn die Tuer zum Garten ist nur eine grosse Schiebetuer aus Glass.

Another week - another ride! This time it was the Tour de Cure ride in Venice. We didn't stay overnight but drove down from Tampa the morning before the ride. A cold front was coming through and it was sooo cold!

Auch dieses Wochenende sind wir wieder zu einem Tour de Cure Fahrrad Tour gefahren, dieses Mal in Venice. Wir sind allerdings nicht schon am Tag vorher gefahren, sondern sind am Morgen von Tampa aus losgefahren. Eine Kaltfront kam durch und es war sehr kalt an diesem Tag.

Patrick and I took one of the rest stops along the route. But because of the weather and especially the strong wind gusts, a lot of cyclist quit early. At one point it rained and I made the sandwiches in the car! It was so cold that day, I think the temperatures never went over 68 degress.

Patrick und ich haben einen der Rest Stops auf der Route uebernommen. Leider sind viele der Radfahrer wegen dem schlechten Wetter und vor allem wegen dem Wind nicht die ganze Strecke gefahren.

After the ride we ate at "Sharky's" and then walked out on the boardwalk. The waves were high and it was really windy. By that time the rain and most of the clouds had disapeared, but it was still windy.

Nach der Tour haben wir bei "Sharky's" gegessen und sind dann noch an den Strand. Die Wellen waren sehr hoch und es war windig. Zu der Zeit hat es nicht mehr geregnet und es gab kaum noch Wolken, aber es war noch immer sehr windig.
